UNDERSTANDING SOVIET
NAVAL DEVELOPMENTS
HOME          INDEX
At the end of WWII Russia had the largest land army in the world. Joseph Stalin set about to become the strongest country on earth and
to dominate as much of the world as he could.

To do this he needed a strong modern Army, Navy and Air Force which he went about building and soon became the number 2 world
power pushing all nations except the United States to a lesser power than The Soviet Union.

The build up of the Soviet Union is very impressive.
