Ira Seeman Slover and Mary Ann Shadle Cathy Jendenski Gene, this is a new email. This information is what I have in my database. It would not be there if I did not think it was correct, however, I do make errors all the time. PLEASE confirm this through your own documents before accepting it as fact. Also watch for typos. My favorite mistake is changing the century from 1800 to 1900 or the other way around. I say that Ira Slover was probably born in War Eagle because that is where his brother, Sanders, was supposedly born. War Eagle is now just a mill on the river and a few (1, I think) shops. It is interesting because you can see them grind the grain and then you can purchase the product. There is a very casual restaurant upstairs that serves very simple but delicious meals...beans, chicken and dumplings, berry cobbler, etc. Twice a year they have a huge craft sale there. If you are in the area, it is worth your while to drop by the mill. I checked out what books and things they had and did not find any Slovers mentioned.
