There is record of an Isaac Selover being married in Trouwboek Groede 28
February , 1677 to Johnna de Winter and then to Dina Dricks Coevoet

Isaac, Jr was named schoolmaster at Schoondijke in an act of 1683. on July
27 1684 and act call him former Schoolmaster.

In New Amersfoort (Flatlands in 1695 where he witnessed a deed on 5-24-1695.

Living in Flatbush as late as 1715. On tax rolls of Newcastle, Delaware from
1684 - 1687. Land near Christian Creek.

Probably married Hester Van Leuvenigh before coming to America. First child
may have been born in Holland. Hendrick Van Leuvenigh was a brother-in-law
of Isaac Slover.

Marriage record of the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church states: Isaacq
Selover, schoolmaster and assistant pastor at New Amersfoort, widower of
Hester Leenda (Van Leuvenigh) and Jannekan Van Wilkenhof, widow of Jan
Thyssen, the former of New Amesfoort (Flatlands) , the second, living here,
Jan 23, 1695.

Admitted as a freeman to New York City, July 16, 1695 and paid taxes as a
shopkeeper in the West Ward from Dec. 1695 to July 1699, the amounts ranging
from 15 pounds to 70 pounds. His name was given variously as Slone, Slovier,
Sloover and Slover.

When the Association Oath Rolls were signed Jan. 11, 1696, he signed "Isaac
Seloover". He had his membership transferred from New Amersfoort to New
Amsterdam R.D. Church, Sept 3, 1696 and then in June 10, 1700 to the French
Church in New York City, although no records of the family are found at that
church.
Iisaac's third marriage was recorded in New Amsterdam R.D. Church: Isaacq
Selover, widower of Jannekan Van Wilkenhof and Judith Waldron of New York,
Dec 26, 1699
