Credit for this goes to the Spring 2013 issue of Midway Currents, quarterly magazine of the USS Midway.  My friends on the USS Missouri will get a chuckle out of this one.

The rivalries between Navy ships' crews can get intense sometimes.  In the late 1980's, the battleships USS New Jersey and USS Missouri were tied up near each other in Long Beach.  The print shop on the New Jersey decided to have some fun with the crew of the "Mighty Mo".  This is a reproduced flier created by the printers aboard "The Big J" and circulated along the Long Beach waterfront.
